Actual Reports Embarks on a New Project with Support from the Estonian Business and Innovation Agency

We are thrilled to announce that Actual Reports has been awarded a grant of €152,674.60 for our project, "Creating a Document Lifecycle Management Solution for the Actual Reports Interface" (Dokumentide elutsükli haldamise lahenduse loomine Actual Reportsi liidesele). The project, which will run from May 1, 2025, to April 30, 2026, is co-funded by the European Union through the Estonian Business and Innovation Agency (Ettevõtluse ja Innovatsiooni Sihtasutus).

Project Description
This project aims to build a comprehensive Document Lifecycle Management (DLM) solution integrated into the Actual Reports platform. DLM is an essential component of modern business operations, managing the entire journey of a document from its creation to its eventual archiving or disposal. The goal is to provide a powerful, user-friendly tool that streamlines document workflows, enhances security, and ensures regulatory compliance.

Our new DLM system will expand upon the existing Actual Reports PDF Generation API, introducing new features for intuitive document creation, secure storage and transmission, digital signatures, approval workflows, and version control. The solution is specifically designed to be a self-service tool for non-technical users, making advanced document management accessible to everyone.

Goal and Outcome
The primary objective is to empower businesses to digitize and automate their document-related processes. By integrating this DLM solution, we will help our clients significantly improve their operational efficiency, reduce manual tasks, and ensure the security and compliance of their documents with standards such as GDPR.

The successful completion of this project will provide users with a seamless, scalable tool to: Create and manage document templates with ease, Automate the collection and population of data into documents, Securely store and share documents with defined access controls and Manage approval and signing workflows digitally.

Ultimately, this project will make document management faster, more secure, and more cost-effective for our clients. It represents a significant step forward in enhancing the value of the Actual Reports platform and strengthening our position in the digital document management field.
